As a Georgia native and Auburn University graduate, I’ve always had a deep love for the South and the communities that make it feel like home.
Real estate is personal to me because I know firsthand how stressful and overwhelming the process can feel. After a frustrating experience with my home purchase, I made a commitment to approach this industry differently.
With more than a decade of customer service experience, I understand how important communication, trust, and transparency are throughout every step of the journey. My goal is to make sure every client feels informed, supported, and genuinely cared for from beginning to end.

Richard brings decades of experience navigating high-pressure, high-stakes environments where clear thinking, strong communication, and confident decision-making matter.
Originally an air traffic controller, Richard built his career in roles where precision and composure were essential. After transitioning into sales, he spent more than 30 years building relationships, serving clients, and raising a family, all while dreaming of one day building his own business.
Five years ago, that dream became reality when he and his daughter launched Petty Realty.
Today, Richard brings that same steady approach to every transaction, helping buyers and sellers navigate important decisions with confidence, clarity, and genuine care.
